He absolutely would have gotten more, but he's basically said in interviews he just likes winning. IIRC it was in the context of basically being the 3rd option, but I think that's certainly relevant.

He's had a great attitude in his time here and is low key an essential piece to our offensive success. Bud basically encourages him to be as aggressive as possible, which he might also not get on another team.

I think he can be so much better. He is a huge steal. Pretty much ever PG with his numbers is a max guy, having an elite PG (because of his defense) for that price is fantastic. I expected them to pay 20m per year.

Bledsoe is a really good fit for Milwaukee. His defense in the backcourt is essential for how tall the rest of their team is and has settled into his role which i had doubts about when he left Phoenix. Hell ill go as far as saying hes a huge factor to Giannis having an MVP season(other than the fact the dudes a freak)

I estimate Bledsoe's value to be around $25m this season (pro rated) so to get him for $17.5m is a great deal for the Bucks, especially if his production stays the same while the cap goes up. From his perspective, he turns 30 this year and now has some long-term security. Both sides should be happy.

I don't think its a steal. I think its a correct assessment of his value. Lets not forget that Terry Rozier nephewed him 10 months ago. His turnaround this season was fantastic but there's not a lot of history there to suggest allstar.

Edit: HES TURNING 30 IN DECEMBER. This contract is to carry out the later years of his prime. Lets not forget that on average point guard don't age well once they lose a step or 2 in the speed and agility.
